Scrapper detection

In addition to the leakage detection, the measurement station can search the pressure trend for another typical pattern, like the one caused by the cleaning or diagnostic pig/scrapper, as it passes under the pressure transmitter. As soon as this pattern is recognized, the measurement station triggers an alarm about „scrapper located at this station“.

Communication replay

In case of communication failure, the „Communication replay“ function is activated. As soon, as the system recognizes the loss of connection, it creates an archive of communication messages. When the communication link is recovered, the complete archive is replayed. This „replay mode“ simulates the pipeline history, as it was during the communication breakdown. Should there appeared a leak during the comms breakdown, it will be calculated and published. This replay based detection is running in parallel to the real-time detection. The replay leak alarms are specially marked with „off-line detection“ prefix.
